Offering view to the Five fingers Viewing Platform, Haus Salzkammergut is located in Obertraun, 5 km from the centre of Hallstatt and 400 metres away from Lake Hallstatt and the beach. Free WiFi access is available and rooms come with a flat-screen smart TV. The property offers free parking. Breakfast was varied and very tasty, with a different homemade cake each day. There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

All rooms and apartments have cable TV and a bathroom with toiletries. Most have a balcony. What a wonderful little apartment. The shower was great! The bedroom had plenty of room to move around the bed, and the windows had blackout shades. comfortable living room area if you’d like to sit someplace along with a dining table and a kitchen with all the conveniences.  I also appreciated the extras that you could purchase while staying there, like having a load of laundry, done, or purchasing tea or coffee to have in your room while staying there. They also provide a great breakfast each day.

At the guest house, units have bed linen and towels. What a lovely place to stay! Mark is absolutely amazing, very hospitable and he gave us some really nice recommendations for places to visit. The room was very nice and quiet. Breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend or visit again!

Located right on the shore on Lake Wolfgang, Hotel & Gasthof Fürberg is 3.5 km, approximately a 45-minutes walk, from the centre of St. Gilgen. It offers a private beach and a free bicycle and boat rental. The hotel stands alone in a beautiful natural spot, with an easy 5 min ferry ride to St Gilgen. There are lots of hiking and swimming spots. The boat provides easy access to St Wolfgang and Strobl. The restaurant is relaxed but excellent quality and very popular with locals. Booking is recommended. Every night we were delighted to eat the delicious specials. Breakfast was simply amazing, the chefs are superb! The staff were hard working and incredibly friendly.

Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. Absolutely loved this place. Felt like home. :) We loved getting to know the owners and enjoyed a laid-back, nature filled vacation! Breakfast was amazing and the room was beautiful. Would love to return soon.

Dinner is served on the lakeside terrace, in the restaurant, or in the winter garden. The exclusive restaurant, awarded from the Falstaff Gourmet Guide with 2 forks, offers an extensive wine list. The hotel staff is super nice and friendly, he recommend us the activities and help us find a taxi during rainy season, made us enjoyed st Wolfgang more, would definitely recommend. Breakfast is also nice, and inner decoration is very artistic.

This traditional, family-run hotel enjoys a quiet but central location, offering guests high-quality, comfortable accommodation in the pretty town of St. Gilgen, 300 metres from the shores of the Wolfgangsee lake. Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. The location was excellent with stunning views. The Staff were co operative and helped with all necessary things. Also the mini super market inside is really useful if we like to cook food.
