Hotel Garni Anzengruber is located near the centre of St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, 100 metres from the famous Weißes Rössl and the beautiful pilgrimage church. The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

There is also a sun terrace with a hot tub, a sauna and a relaxation room. I rarely review in booking, but this hotel was amazing! The facilities are new and the service is excellent. You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. We loved our time in Dormio Resort Obertraun, the host was super-friendly, very well organized. The place was lovely, our kinds loved the pool area, with the view to the lake it was gorgeous. The small town crowded with the mountains was just like in a fairytale. Kitchen was enjoyable for kids too, with a nice wide selection possibilities from menu, prepared carefully. I am looking forward to come back again, in May or June, we planned the adventure for hiking, there was snow on the top at 5Fingers in April. Thank you for the unforgettable experience.
