You will find local shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep. Very big room with two doors, one goes to the inner garden and another to the corridor with a water filter. Laundry is free with liquid detergent and a dryer. The personnel is welcoming and caring. The bathroom is fully renovated.

This is a beautiful , quiet accommodation. We had the entire upstairs floor with the two rooms we had which we used to host Christmas dinner for 6 people with plenty of room. the room was well stocked with everything we needed. ( Get someone to show you how to use the heater/air conditioner right away. They work well but we were unsure of how to use this type of unit) The location is amazing with a wonderful coffee shop just below it. Port Fairy was a delightful little community.

Merrijig Inn bed and breakfast is just a 3-minute walk from Shipwreck Walk Trail and a 6-minute drive from Port Fairy Golf Club. East Beach is a 15-minute drive away. Staying in Merrijig was an absolute treat! The bedroom was surprisingly spacious, as was the bathroom. The common area was incredibly cosy, especially the little nook with the fireplace. Each morning, we were blessed with a delicious breakfast and wonderful variety. I have to mention the staff, as it felt like we were visiting old friends, rather than being guests. The whole vibe of Merrijig is just cosy, friendly, but professional at the same time. We can't wait to be back!

The fully equipped cabin was spotless and thoughtfully designed to provide every comfort we could need. The property is beautifully maintained, with charming features like the pond, kettles, chickens, and goats on the hill, which added to the relaxing country atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. Everything was perfectly planned and managed, and it was clear that the hosts paid attention to every detail to ensure guests have a memorable experience. We loved our time here and can't wait to return!
