Private bathrooms feature shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Easy check-in, very straightforward. The living room was very big. Everything was so clean and neat. Kitchen was easy to use. This is one of the best price-quality appartments in the centre in my opinion. Big terrace where we coudl eat outside on a picknick table. We also took the breakfast in the hotel and it was good for the price. The scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages were so delcious. And a big plus for the bathroom. Very big and also clean.

Mercure Oostende is situated only 250 metres from the sandy beach and from the Casino Kursaal. The hotel is located close to the main shopping area of Ostend. This hotel in Blankenberge, situated in an old monastery, offers modern guest rooms and apartments in the town centre, 350 metres from the sandy beach and the North Sea. It features a wellness area and a tranquil garden terrace. The whole staff was friendly and always welcoming. The service at breakfast was so quick and efficient. It took them around 3 minutes after ordering to have fresh scrambled or fried eggs at the table. Astonishing! And of course the breakfast itself was great too. There was an excellent atmosphere at the hotel throughout our whole stay and we liked our room, the patio and the lounge a lot. I would warmly recommend this place to anyone staying in Blankenberge. The beach and the station are close by and so it only took us 15 minutes to get to Bruges by train.

Each room also includes tea and coffee making facilities. The hotel is lovely, very homely and we’ll maintained. We had the family suite, and it was perfect for us and the two children. The breakfast was also fantastic, but what really made our stay special was the lovely Els, and they care and attention she showed us. We would highly recommend the hotel, and look forward to hopefully returning soon!
