Το The Village House βρίσκεται στο Kuching, σε απόσταση μόλις 3 λεπτών με τα πόδια από την παραλία Santubong και 7 λεπτών οδικώς από το όρος Santubong και το Πολιτιστικό Χωριό Sarawak. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. We stayed only one night but left hoping that we would have a chance to come stay again. The room was simple and elegant. Comfortable beds and great air-conditioning (even though it might be cool out, you have to sleep with the aircon and close the windows because the mosquitos will attack!). Meals were delicious but nice and homey. There are also communal areas with day beds, couches and hammocks by the pool (which we didn't use but it looked so tranquil and inviting). Had a nice relaxing time there after dinner and breakfast. It's also a drive away from the tourist centre with the bars, beach, and some stray cats who are most definitely well-cared for and absolutely adorable. Mount Santubong isn't far away as well for those who want a good outdoor hike. Overall a great place to relax and clear your mind. 😊

A superb hotel a 6 minute walk away from the Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre. Very spacious and well-equipped wooden lodges in the middle of the rainforest. Very nice staff and great food in the restaurant.
