The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was fine :)

The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared areas, including the kitchen and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a nice space to relax. One of the highlights was the free Basel Card, which made getting around the city much easier. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable and fast, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, which might not suit those looking for a more social experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Basel, Basel Backpack is a solid choice. Would recommend for budget travelers!

Το Hotel Victoria βρίσκεται στο κέντρο της Βασιλείας, δίπλα στον κεντρικό σιδηροδρομικό σταθμό (SBB) και προσφέρει παραδοσιακή φιλοξενία και μοντέρνες παροχές. I had one of the corner rooms, 206. Was really spacious and comfortable. Breakfast I rated as good. Love the fresh orange juice, the quality of the bread and pastries. As a vegetarian I missed some options, to replace the cold cuts and some fresh vegetables would have been nice.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Εξαιρετική τοποθεσία, πολύ κοντά στην Παλιά Πόλη. Πολύ ευρυχωρα και καθαρά δωμάτια. Ευγενέστατο και πολύ εξυπηρετικό προσωπικό. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Great location, large room, excellent breakfast, and very nice staff

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We appreciate all the advice from the receptionist and his generous and kind gesture of allowing us to check in 1 hour earlier. It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Euler Basel Hotel deserves 20 stars!

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. The view from the balcony was awesome. Very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.
