This hotel exceeded our expectations, looks more like a 4 star hotel. We booked the comfort room and it looked like in the pictures. Good size and very clean. The staff was nice and helpful.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. This was the nicest hotel we ever stayed at. The hotel staff was always very helpful.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Great location, nice room (3bed), good breakfast and friendly staff. Parking was easy, as there are 5 free parking spaces directly in front of the hotel entrance. We rented a swim fish from the hotel, which was very convenient.
