Charming old-fashioned hotel, with a beautiful view of the famous Staubbach waterfall. Breakfast was excellent, staff was great. There is lovley lounge area where refreshments are available for free till 10pm. The attic room we booked was small, but very clean, cozy and cute. We really enjoyed it! Wish I could have stayed longer.

The checkin was perfect, the guy that was on the reception at night is incredibly gentle 👊 The lovely cat was a great bonus.

The property looks exactly like photos. Super beautiful abd clean. The owner, Marc was super nice and welcoming. Was helping everyone to make sure their stay is just perfect. We will for sure return with family and friends.

I usually don’t write reviews for hotels, but this experience truly deserves recognition. Yannick went above and beyond in every possible way. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally warm, kind, and friendly—so much so that it felt like he already knew us. His hospitality made us feel instantly at home. What stood out most was his patience and attentiveness. I had many questions throughout our stay, and he always responded with a smile and clear, thoughtful explanations. His professionalism and kindness made a real difference. I also want to mention how welcoming the owner was. I had previously stayed here last year without my mother, and the staff were already very friendly and accommodating. However, during this recent visit—with my mother, who wears a hijab—I was genuinely touched to find that they were even more welcoming and respectful. I had some initial concerns that we might feel out of place, but instead, we were treated with the utmost kindness and warmth. It was a beautiful and reassuring experience that made us feel truly seen and respected. I’m very grateful and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a welcoming and thoughtful environment.

Το Hotel Schönegg είναι ένα superior ξενοδοχείο 3 αστέρων που βρίσκεται ακριβώς στο κέντρο του Wengen όπου δεν επιτρέπεται η κυκλοφορία αυτοκινήτων, το οποίο είναι προσβάσιμο μόνο με το τρένο. Wonderful view. Absolutely fantastic breakfast. Best we had in Switzerland. Beds comfortable. THE VIEW

Afternoon cake is a great idea to welcome back guests after their daily outing! Superior room cleanliness perfect.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. The location was ammmazing!! The views from the hotel were stunning.

Χτισμένο το 1881, το οικογενειακά διοικούμενο Hotel Alpenrose αποτελεί το παλαιότερο ξενοδοχείο του Wengen, ένα χωριό όπου δεν κυκλοφορούν αυτοκίνητα και είναι προσβάσιμο μόνο με το τρένο. Εξαιρετικό ! Ξεπέρασε κάθε προσδοκία! Ζεστασιά, θαλπωρή άψογη εξυπηρέτηση! Είχαμε ημιδιατροφή- ήταν ότι καλύτερο μπορούσαμε να φανταστούμε όσον αφορά μενού, γεύση, ποικιλία και σέρβις!
