The room itself was comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and nice! The view from the balcony was a highlight.

The Grandhotel Giessbach is a historic house from 1874 and enjoys a secluded position on a hill above Lake Brienz amid a 22-hectare park. A very beautiful Belle Epoque hotel. We just love it. We loved everything here... . the view to the lake and to the Giessbach waterfall, the room with big windows and balcony and the athmosphere, everything. Exeptional breakfast. We will never forget our stay in Grandhotel Giessbach.
