The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Montarina is a clean, well managed low-budget hostel in the Heart of Lugano. It is located in a lovely private garden and close to the city center. Recommendable to families with younger children, young couples, singles and aging people who are still young in spirit.

Het Continental Parkhotel wordt door een familie beheerd en ligt 200 meter ten zuiden van het centraal station van Lugano. Daarvandaan vertrekt regelmatig de kabelbaan naar het stadscentrum. We have stayed at many hotels throughout Europe, and the Continental Parkhotel was one of our favorites. It has a beautiful, quiet elegance to it, the rooms and views are lovely, quite a large bathroom & shower for Europe, which we loved! Spacious room & fantastic views. The free breakfast was extensive & delicious and the breakfast room was lovely, all glass with views of the lake and property. And the property itself is worth a stroll, plus don’t miss the evenings (or happy hours!) in the hotel bar/lounge (quite lovely) or the fantastic hotel restaurant. The food was amazing. I can’t say enough about the the hotel, but truly the staff shined the brightest down to each & every one we came into contact with, from Immanuela & Roberta at the Fri t desk that assisted with special requests, to the two bartenders, breakfast room & restaurant staff, housekeeping, everyone is so welcoming. I cannot wait to return & would highly recommend!!!!

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. We had an amazing view of the lake from our room. The room was big, the shower was great with an absolute high pressure of the water. The breakfast had a good amount of choices between English and Italian foods.

Kurhaus Cademario - Adults Only werd gebouwd in 1914 en ligt 850 meter boven zeeniveau. Het biedt massages, ontspanningsruimtes en stoombaden. The location is absolutely stunning and the hotel itself is not too big , which makes it very very special and ideal for a weekend getaway in peace.

Benvenuti all'Hotel Gabbani, un'oasi di comfort e design situata nel cuore di Lugano, a Piazza Cioccaro. The ambiance is very Italian and the hotel with its restaurants are very beautiful. The staff is professional and nice. The hotel is smack in the center of Lugano. The rooms could be made more charming to match the restaurants, although they work well.
