I think the breakfast was fine as I recall. The room was brilliant. As an Eisenbahnfreund I had asked the extremely helpful receptionist if we could have a room overlooking the railway. She changed our allocated room for us.

Unfortunately we arrived late and left early, so didn't have a chance to fully appreciate and explore the accommodation and surrounds. However, it was quite magical to open our window and look at the lights reflected on the River Aare. The breakfast was lovely, room was very comfortable, a lovely old building...definitely a place to return to.

Warm welcome on arrival, friendly helpful staff, very good and thoughtful communication. Lovely room, quiet and spacious, comfy bed and great shower. Breakfast buffet was most enjoyable with a wide choice of options and very well presented. Location was ideal for us, not far from the motorway with two supermarkets and several places to eat close by too. Hope to return later in the year. Thank you.
