We also enjoyed all the cats--they were our pets during our stay! Fernando was very helpful with suggestions and accommodating. Our stay here was very homey feeling rather than a hotel stay.

Apartotel La Sabana is located 1.5 km from central San José and offers self-catering accommodation with free WiFi access, breakfast included with the rate and an outdoor pool. We loved everything. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Hotel is fantastic. Our room was great, a/c essential in the heat, amenities excellent, etc. The included breakfast was OUTSTANDING. Wow. Made to order from the menu. Wow again.

The location was perfect, especially being near banks, restaurant, and Walmart. Also, it was just off a main road so it was so easy to drive in and out of.

Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. The hotel was super authentic and beautiful. I really loved the decoration and vibe of the place. The room was also really nice, super clean, and the bed comfortable. The quality of this place for its price is really great. My favourite part was without a doubt how nice and helpful staff were. I was travelling alone and this was my first stop in Costa Rica. They were really nice to give me directions to the bus station I had to go to the next morning. Will absolutely come back here on my next trip!
