Stayed for one night with my daughter after a trip to the Playmobil Park, an easy 15-20 walk away. Hotel staff excellent recommending local swimming pools and restaurants. Large room (2 single duvets on king size bed) with air con. Buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of options.

The breakfast blew my mind with the abundant and delicious food. Our room was charming, and I slept well. Most importantly the staff and owners went above and beyond for our group of six! The spacious rooms and suites at the Hotel Deutsches Haus include wooden furniture and some antiques. We were upgraded to a suite in the old hotel, full of character, but with modern bathroom. Breakfast was in the newly converted hotel 3 doors away - an amazing conversion blending old & ultra modern !

Set next to Nuremberg’s historic city wall, this quiet 3-star hotel enjoys easy access to the old quarter, pedestrian area, and attractions including the Kaiserburg castle and Hauptmarkt market square. This historic 4-star hotel, situated in the heart of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, right in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park, offers enchanting accommodation in a Gothic style. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Management was very helpful in recommending activities and dining - I had such a great dinner at their recommended spot that we returned the next evening. The room was very unique, charming and comfortable - and the bathroom was fantastic, including the big bathtub! The daily breakfast was excellent and the location was spectacular!

Some rooms have a view over Rothenburg’s historic rooftops Even before arriving at the Hotel Sonne, the manager communicated with me as I have some medical issues, and he made accommodations to assist my wife and I. The Hotel is right in the middle of everything. The restaurant is wonderful for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have a car, the garage is right around the corner and very easy to get to. All the staff is super friendly and helpful. 5 stars service

The property was incredible and in such a great location. The room was large, very clean, and had beautiful views. Otto checked us in and out and was an absolute delight. We were headed to Nuremberg next and he recommended we try the lebkuchen at the markets and we were so thankful for that recommendation - it was delicious!
