The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. The hotel itself is cozy, comfortable, clean and furnished in a unique, I would say traditional style. The host - owner of the property was very friendly, outgoing and welcoming. We loved everything about our stay there and we would recommend the hotel 10 out of 10 times.

The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

Das Graseck enjoys a peaceful location only accessible via the hotel's own cable car. The location is unbeatable, right at the foot of the mountain with stunning views. The room was spacious and the in-room sauna was a thoroughly enjoyed. The massages were exceptional—some of the best we’ve had in a long time (ask for Adina). Dinner was another highlight (Frans-Josef), offering a new and delicious menu every night. A truly memorable stay!

Awesome breakfast , Just outside the train station and had great view from my room and from almost everywhere in the hotel. Staff was very helpful and assisted me in early check in and guided me in detail how to visit Eagle's nest and Königssee lake.

All rooms at Grainauer Hof are designed using warm colours and feature modern furnishings. They contain a TV and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They look after the guests and are willing to help. I was very impressed by the customer service. There are two supermarkets with a walking distance, and the bus stops right in front of the hotel.
