The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. The sun terrace and garden offer a beautiful view of the Zugspitz and Wetterstein mountains. Everything was better than we thought. Accommodation, personnel, amenities, exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended to everyone and definitely we'll come back in the future.

The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

The Olympia Stadium is 800 metres away. We went there because we wanted to go skiing, the hotel staff was very friendly. They helped us every time we had a question. The hotel is very nice, the location is good, the hotel room had a mountain view, the room was comfortable, with mini bar included and the breakfast was very good. The pool and relaxation area was small but enough to be comfortable. In front of the hotel you can rent snowboard or ski equipment if you wish.

Great hotel, with a unique spirit in a historical building. The breakfast was exceptional, and we were lucky to be there for Christmas and got the last table for the Christmas eve dinner. The room and facilities are clinically clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly.
