Friendly, upgraded us to a beautiful balcony room as their gift to us on arrival. Couldn’t say enough about this place. A real gem! Food is amazing!

Many rooms feature a view of the River Rhine, Burg Katz (Cat Castle) and Burg Maus (Mouse Castle), and some rooms have a balcony. Location is great. It's right across the road from the Rhine RIver with a Castle on the hill across the Rhine from the hotel and an old one behind. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast were very good. We had a river view which was excellent. The hotel also has an elevator. Would stay again if I am back to St Goar.

Tthe family room was great, the kids were very excited to "sleep in a castel".! The breakfast was excellent with many choices, and the view on Trier was fabulous. An excellent place to recommend !
