This hotel in the town of Schwangau's Horn district offers rooms with panoramic views of the Alps. It is less than 2 km away from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. I loved everything. Great location, available parking space, great breakfast and lovely staff. The room was comfortable and had a nice view. We could even see the Neuschwanstein castle from the backyward. The location was amazing and with easy access to Füssen. A free bus ticket was also available. There was also free coffee and a delicious cake.

Located just 3 km from the city of Füssen, Haus Alpenrose offers comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Bavarian countryside. There is free Wi-Fi internet available throughout the property. Ingrid was charming. We have stayed in lots of self catering flats on our travels and Alpenrose has to be one of the best, everything immaculate, well thought out and comfortable. It's in a great location for Bavarian history with access to cable cars to the mountain tops. Lots of walking, cycling, cross country skiing from the door. The town has lots of restaurants too. It's also good value for money.

The hotel staff were exceptionally friendly and always ready to help, making us feel truly well-cared for. This location is perfect for both active vacations, with numerous hiking trails and ski slopes nearby, and for relaxing moments with a book on the balcony. The hotel fully met our expectations, and even exceeded them. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the magic of the Austrian Alps in comfortable surroundings!
