What an amazing place, in a lovely quiet part of Holsted. Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

This atmospheric hotel is set in a renovated 16th-century building opposite Ribe Cathedral. The location couldn't get any better - in the heart of Ribe. The historical building is impressive and charming. The breakfast was wonderful. We had a car, and the hotel had a parking spot available to us for a charge - which we appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dagmar
