This was a last minute booking as our flight from Samana was cancelled and rebooked for the next day. We only dealt with one staff member really, while we were checking in. She was absolutely amazing! We were obviously stressed and tired from our day and she made the check-in process seamless. She also go everything set for our check-out the next morning as we were leaving at 6:00am. We has an issue with the AC in our room, we couldn't get it to work. She came over and after also not being able to get it to work she offered to move us to another room and helped us with our baggage. This all seems like basic things, but after the day we had we really appreciated it. Overall we love the warm welcoming vibe of the resort! I would love to go back and checkout the resort and area more.

Located in Puerto Bahia, this luxury hotel is a 10-minute drive from Arroyo Barril Airport. It features a private marina, outdoor pools and spacious suites with a private balcony. It was beautiful, right on the harbor.

We had booked the room highest up in the building and had a lovely view onto palm trees and the beach from our balcony. The room layout was exceptional with high ceilings, a larger shower (also with a view) and a staircase that led up to the room. It didn't feel like a hotel room at all. The bed and pillows were super comfortable (firm bed and flat pillows) - more comfortable then what we have at home! We loved the hot/cold water dispenser in the room as well as the small fridge. The buffet-style breakfast had everything you could think of. We liked that it started at 7:30 am so we could grab a coffee and a few things before heading out for diving adventures before 8 am. The staff was very friendly - especially the lady who managed the spa! The snorkeling from the beach was much better than expected and we loved the foot showers on the grounds to get rid of the sand before heading up to our room. We also liked that the reception was open 24-7 and that there was a parking lot with a guard for our rental car for easy parking!
