Set in Fonseca Square, Hotel Montes is housed in a charming building dating from the 1700s, just 2 minutes’ walk from Santiago Cathedral. It offers free Wi-Fi and rooms with flat-screen TV. the location is ideal, particularly after a long walk. Easy access to the Cathedral & the many restaurants in the old town. the room was fantastic, very spacious & a comfortable bed.... fantastic staff

This small hotel is located in a quiet area just 1.5 km from Playa de Orio Beach and offers free WiFi throughout, a sun terrace and a garden. Amazing value! It is very clean and you can easily see the owners put a lot of love into this place. The staff in general is very warm, kind and professional. Simply amazing people and an amazing place!

Ο ξενώνας Higueralde βρίσκεται στον Βισκαϊκό Κόλπο και περιβάλλεται από βουνά. Απέχει 15 λεπτά με τα πόδια από την παραλία. Προσφέρει δωμάτια με κεντρική θέρμανση και δωρεάν Wi-Fi. Beautiful views from the large room, comfy bed, easy check in and friendly hosts. And of course this has to be the best breakfast in all of Spain: you’ll be full for two days! This is my second time staying here and I’ll be back, it’s the absolute best place in the area, especially if traveling with a dog. The road is actually quite easy and there are signs for the hotel: be sure to ignore the straight uphill option and instead take the slightly longer route that goes towards the beach but then winds back up the hill. There is ample parking up top behind the hotel. Muchas gracias una vez más!

Αυτό το ξενοδοχείο απέχει μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια από τον καθεδρικό ναό Santiago de Compostela. The room was big, very clean and confortable. The breakfast was very special. The staff was very friendly. Would for sure stay there again.

We took the train from Madrid and hiked to this hotel from the train station. The hotel sits in a square but it's super quiet at night. We were met by friendly staff at check-in. Our room was large with a lot of room for luggage. We had a separate sitting room which was nice. Everything was clean. Our bathroom was large. We had breakfast in the morning and we wished it had a bit more variety--but was good to get your day started. Close to all the city's attractions. We left our luggage with the front desk on our last day to finish checking out the city--which was nice!

Less than 5 km from the coast and beside the Basque town of Irun, this charming hotel has a lovely garden and free internet. Beds were amazing and the staff was super friendly! it has a nice garden to play with the dog. I highly recommend this place :)
