This charming mansion dates from the 18th century and is located in the medieval town of Villafranca del Bierzo, on the Camino de Santiago. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, minibar, plasma TV and hydromassage shower column. Was in villafranca 20+ years ago as a pilgrim. Was lovely. Had a word with owner, who was so inviting. Would recommend and definitely return. Breakfast was fab.

The property has a rustic vibe to it, with its traditional spanish design. The view from our room, overseeing the vineyards was heavenly. The facilities were good, the room was cosy and the wine made by the owners excelent.

I am now finished the full Camino and this has been the best stay of my 33 night journey. Juan is amazing. So welcoming and even carried my bag to my comfortable single bed. Such a luxury not to have a bunk bed here. Clean sheets included. So nice. So clean. Hotel like quality . The dinner was also amazing and not like a hostel or typical pilgrim dinner. Thank you Juan. Keep up the good work and thanks for being the best host on my journey in a lovely town. I want to rate this 11.0 out of 10 :)

Small boutique hotel in a rural area. Room and Pvt bathroom very well designed. Very good space utilisation. Very good cafe and restaurant. Good Food. Right on the Camino way.

Warm reception, ongoing care from host, option of lovely Brazilian dinner, gorgeous breakfast and clear evidence of the Camino spirit. This was a lovely place to arrive at after a chilly challenging day.

Beautiful hotel in stunning location. So lovely to sit out on the patio and enjoy the beautiful views down the Valley. Room was gorgeous and loved the bath tub. Good delicious. Highly recommended!
