They upgraded my room and even lent me a plug. The suite was excellent in terms of size, decor, cleanliness, amenities (coffee, teas, organic bath items, couch, TV, etc.). It was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Location was great, walking distance in a few minutes to the Tourism Office, La Plage or beach, downtown, restaurants, even police station. I loved my stay and will definitely go back! They have a rooftop area with views of the town. There's elevator.

Nestled in the heart of La Rochelle and set in an 18th-century building, Maison des Ambassadeurs is just a 5-minute walk from the Old Harbour and offers a 24-hour front desk as well as a concierge service. Raphael greeted us by attending to our car. He later gave us many tips and places to see and to eat. He was so very nice. Tiffany treated us to an upgrade which was so very kind of her. We were greeted with her friendly smile and warm welcoming followed with a glass of champagne. Such a pleasant entrance to our stay! The room was absolutely gorgeous. An entire area dedicated to coffee, hot chocolate, and a fridge with drinks, etc. The main room had a table, sofa, chairs, end table - all was comfortable and spacious. The bedroom was large! A king bed (super comfortable), end tables, a huge closet with robes and slippers. The bathroom off the room was also large! Nice lighting, mirrors, sink and wonderful shower.

The receptionist (or better put: hostess) was really welcoming and thoughtfull. Gave all the info that you ll need and also was not hesitent to help out with other questions (in my case: where to eat). Besides that (also very important) the room was really spacious, clean and suited with everthing you ll need. Even an airconditioning that can cool like a fridge.

Guest rooms at the Seakub hotel are equipped with free WiFi access, a TV, private cabin shower room and air conditioning throughout the hotel. Well organised, professional hosts, excellent decor, exceptionally clean, air conditioning worked well, large double comfortable bed, shower was powerful and cubicle large, towels changed daily and room cleaned daily. Breakfast was amazing with an added bonus of home made cakes and jams. Parking was literally outside the hotel on quiet street and the beach is opposite. Excellent location for us. Stéphane and Jêrome were excellent hosts. Their hotel was fantastic, giving information regarding facilities of the hotel and information of the area which made us feel well informed before our stay.
