Our well-appointed room was spacious with a balcony. Staff couldn’t have been friendlier and more helpful, from drivers to restaurant suggestions. We also appreciated the breakfast with healthy selections and daylong detox water. A gem of a hotel. Will definitely stay again!

Hotel de France is housed in a former coaching inn and is located on the edge of Mende’s town centre. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from Mende Cathedral.

Hotel Select, located in the heart of Beaulieu-sur-Mer, is a small family hotel situated by a Provencal marketplace.

The property has 19 guest rooms, certain featuring panoramic mountain views or views of the market square. I loved this town and hotel! It was small, but very charming and well decorated. I also liked that it had a small elevator to carry the luggage up and down. The staff were very kind. The room was small, but it had everything I needed, and I used the dining area after the breakfast time to work a little bit. The smell of bake goods others mentioned wasn't a problem for me, I even enjoyed it, lol. Just in front there's a daily market with fresh fruit, which I visited every day and the train is just 5-min away by walking to head to Nice or the nearby towns. There's nice beaches around. I would definitely come back!
