Upstairs the kitchen area provided even more offerings for breakfast and a lovely dining room and sitting room. Our host was readily available and helpful as well. Above all it is the location that feels like a step back in time to quieter and more peaceful times that creates a serene stay at this wonderful establishment.

The location is fabulous, quiet and secluded, but easy driving distance to the surrounding sites in the area. The beds were very comfortable. The food was delicious. But most importantly, we really enjoyed chatting with our hosts, Colin and Sarah. They are fabulous and what make the Country House the perfect place to stay when visiting the area.

This former church has been tastefully converted, enabling retention of the original features. Auld Kirk B&B is situated in the heart of picturesque Royal Deeside. Fantastic place, really friendly hosts, a lot of attention to details and care to make our staying as comfortable and enjoyable as possible; breakfast a la carte; whiskey tasting surprise in our room; a personal welcome; great recommendation for dinner, really chic room with a very comfortable king bed, nice coffee options in the room - VERY HAPPY for staying at this place!

Set high above the village of Charlestown of Aberlour and overlooking the River Spey, this elegant country hotel is an ideal venue for shooting and fishing, and for whisky-lovers. Great location with access to path by river and to Aberlour. Staff were engaging and responsive.

The Chester Hotel is a listed building dating from the 19th century, combining original design with striking, contemporary features. Beautiful hotel in a lovely area of Aberdeen. The staff was friendly and the accommodation (Classic Suite) very comfortable.
