The property is beautifully designed in an elegant Scottish style that makes you feel like you’re staying in a small castle — a perfect blend of charm and understated luxury. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, always ready to help with any questions or requests. Although the room was not very large, it was thoughtfully furnished, cozy, and had everything we needed. I particularly appreciated the small touches — like the daily treats, cookies, and coffee provided in the room. These little details made the whole experience feel extra special and warm. I would also like to highlight the breakfast — the atmosphere was simply wonderful. The dining room was stunning, the service excellent, and the food both delicious and beautifully presented. There was a nice selection to choose from, and it truly felt like a luxurious start to the day — the perfect way to begin exploring Edinburgh.

Each unique room is chic and elegant. In-room treats include free Wi-Fi, a surround sound system, a flat-screen TV, bathrobes and GHD hair stylers. Guests can also enjoy homemade shortbread, real coffee and designer teas. Amazing room, a view, every little detail in the room. Sparkling clean. The breakfast in the cafe connected to the hotel (The Huxley), a lot of options, all taste perfect, and the staff is very friendly. We also went to their bar a bit further the road - nice and quiet, 20% off on food for the guests. All in all - we loved our stay!

The Hotel Ceilidh-Donia is in a quiet residential area, just off Dalkeith Road, a major route into Edinburgh. Edinburgh Waverley Rail Station, Edinburgh Castle and the shops of Princes Street are within a 15-minute bus ride. We LOVE the host's hospitality! Kevin was an absolute gem! The place was the first stop on our honeymoon, and thanks to Kevin's hospitality, we felt it was the best start we could have ever had! We also loved how big the room and the bathroom were, and the lovely breakfast every morning! Simply blew our minds!

This stylish boutique hotel, has the added touch of the owner’s ever-changing art collection and a dedicated Whisky bar, serving rare and unique scotch malt Whisky and adding a new chapter to Royal Terrace's history as "Whisky Row". I accidentally paid twice & didn’t notice. When I was checking out they pointed that out themselves and made sure I got the refund. Love it! The staff is great, the room is nice and warm, location is 15-20 minutes walk to the main attractions.

The Raeburn features modern design with attractive features including exposed stone walls, sash windows and tartan fabrics. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities. We‘ve never stayed in a better hotel. We loved it from the beginning: The really nice and helpful staff, the lovely room with all you need, the bar and the food (breakfast and dinner are delicious!) and also the nice neighborhood with all its cute little shops and cafés. Best was of course the hotel dog Angus, whom I really took into my heart. We enjoyed our time so much and will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
