Fresh apples in the common lounge area, dishes and cutlery for use and a small table was available. This place was decorated with a loving touch and it felt like a home-away-from-home. Easy to access entry and easy to check-out.

I have been coming to Strattons for many years, and while the restaurant and courtyard cafe have closed for want of staff it still is a great experience for those who want a comfortable base to explore the surrounding area. It does seems as if the present owners since 1990 will be selling up so go while it is still in their hands.
