The nearest beach is 2 km away. The partment was spacious, well-equipped, clean, we found everything we needed. And we had a very nice and helpful host. We could see the airplanes landing and flying off :)

Manolis and his staff were so kind, thoughtful and welcoming! Beautiful mature gardens created with love over decades - providing cool shelter even in a heatwave - the pool area was just perfect - a quiet, peaceful place to read, reflect, enjoy artwork, nature - close to all amenities on offer in Skiathos - within 6 hours my husband had forgotten what day of the week it was and how long he had been there - time moves at a different pace - just what the Dr ordered and we can still feel the benefits of having stayed in this wonderful location! The Ostria studios are bright, air-conditioned and tastefully furnished. Prepare meals in your well-equipped kitchenette and relax with a drink after dinner on your spacious balcony. The location was absolutely perfect on a flat property set back from the main road so very tranquil and only moments from the #16 bus stop.Our room was huge with a kitchenette, bed and sitting area and in-suite bathroom was all new and large. Balcony area was a great size which also included a hanging area for wet beach towels etc. Having a pool with decent lounges/umbrellas for the times you just want to lounge by the pool instead of the beach was lovely. Staff were super friendly with great recommendations and breakfast was always a good choice of different foods.So many different tavernas close by to choose from and a great beach across the road made this accommodation absolutely perfect. As our first to this island, we felt like we’d really hit the jackpot with our choice of accommodation. No wonder there were so many return guests staying here!

Ideally located in the protected area of the Strofilia Lake, 200 metres from the award-winning Koukounaries Beach, Mandraki Village Boutique Hotel features a swimming pool and restaurant. It offers elegant accommodation with free internet and balcony. Mandraki was an amazing hotel! I emailed the hotel prior to arriving, and the staff was prompt in responding and were very helpful. From the moment I arrived, everything was wonderful. It’s a beautiful property, my room was so comfortable and quiet. The restaurant has excellent food. Koukounaries beach is minutes away. The bus stop is very close to walk to which you can take into town easily and get to airport.

The hotel's air-conditioned rooms are individually designed and offer balconies with view over the Aegean Sea. Some feature flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The private bathrooms are stocked with bathrobes and slippers. Lovely hotel with great staff and facilities. Easy walk to a fantastic beach. Travelling with teenagers so it was great for them to be able to come and go as they pleased. We ate really well at the local restaurants but it's also super easy to jump on the bus into Skiathos Town. You don't really need to hire a car if you are happy to stick to the south of the island. We were leaving on a late ferry so stayed by the pool for the last day and used the shower/changing facilities available.

Set in a garden, its air-conditioned units open out to a balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea or the garden. Very nice hotel with partly new facilities, under rated. The hotel is only15 minites walk from Skiathos town, it has direct beach access and ts own pool. Directly putside the hotel on the street it is a bus stop where the "beach bus" stops, that will take you to many of the beautiful beaces on the island for some Euros. The breakfast is really good and you can by lunch in the pool/beach bar, really cousy feeling.
