Το Hotel Villa del Lago βρίσκεται στο νησί Flores, ακριβώς πάνω στη λίμνη Peten Itza. Προσφέρει εξαιρετική θέα στη λίμνη και δωρεάν Wi-Fi. I think it was my favorite hotel in Guatemala! It's right on the lake shore, in a charming white building with blue balconies. It has a kind of colonial-Mediterranean feel. We didn't have a view of the lake, but rather of the city. However, I still enjoyed watching people stroll around in the evenings. They also have a terrace overlooking the lake, where you can go to admire the view. And the restaurant where you have breakfast also faces the lake. The room was good, clean, and very comfortable. And the location is excellent, close to the Peten sign, where all transportation departs. The island is small, but those 10-15 minutes still matter when your bus leaves at 05:00 in the morning.
