Μόλις 500μ. βόρεια του Carlow σε μια ήσυχη ώριμη περιοχή (10 λεπτά με τα πόδια), Το Avlon House Bed and Breakfast αποτελεί την ιδανική βάση για περιηγήσεις στη νοτιοανατολική Ιρλανδία. I didn't partake in the breakfast. Everything is was FANTASTIC! And a special thank you to Tom for bringing my glasses to the train station.

Nestled against the banks of the River Barrow and surrounded by luscious green grounds, the 4-star Woodford Dolmen Hotel Carlow is located just outside Carlow. Everything. Because of Storm Bert delaying the Ferry from Holyhead we were late, arriving at 9.35pm. The staff provided a meal for us even though the restaurant stopped serving customers at 9.00pm. We could not find fault with any aspect of the hotel. Facilities were great as were the staff. We were at the hotel for three nights and do not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anybody and will stay here on our next trip to Ireland !
