Faithlegg House Hotel is located on the River Suir Estuary, 5 miles from Waterford Airport. The Treatment Suites and leisure club comes with a pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym and the hotel also offers an award-winning double AA Rosette restaurant and bedrooms with countryside views. Attended a recent wedding in the hotel. The venue, staff and food was exceptional. Breakfast was beautiful, a lovely menu of hot breakfast choices to choose from, along with fresh juice. Food was a little slow, although it gave time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy the selection of yogurt, bread and pastries.

Boasting a spa bath, Hanora's Cottage Guesthouse and Restaurant is situated in Ballymacarbry. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Everything, this place is a haven for a complete break away with nature, sound of the nearby river, views and total relaxation. The first impression of venue exceeded our expectations with decor, beds, bathrooms. I have never seen the display of fruit that was on offer for breakfast.

Bus to centre on ,2 minutes walk away if you want to leave in the onsite parking. Freshly made hot breakfast choices.. Excellent shower and comfortable beds.

Rooms at the Hotel Granville include bathrooms with baths, showers and heated towel rails. They also have safety deposit boxes and there is a 24-hour room service menu. This time we came for a weekend break. As usual, everything was perfect. Before arrival, detailed information from the hotel about the car park and a special discount for hotel guests, wonderful carvery lunch, à la carte breakfast, very clean amd warm, brightly lit room (which I really like), very friendly and helpful staff, great location, on Saturday evening fantastic live music played by a vocal and guitar duo. Prices for this class of hotel are very friendly. We will definitely return to Granville Hotel.

The Elva Restaurant offers fine cuisine on its a la carte and table d’Hote menus. The spacious 1843 Bar boasts a lovely riverside terrace and live entertainment at weekends. In the comfortable lounge guests have access to internet facilities. Lovely spacious and clean room, excellent bathroom.

In Waterford’s centre, Dooley’s is a family-run hotel offering spacious rooms and full Irish breakfasts. Guests can enjoy weekend live music, and Christchurch Cathedral is just a 10-minute walk away.

Rooms at Dooley’s Hotel are brightly furnished and all feature a private bathroom with a hairdryer. Each room provides a TV, free tea and coffee, and ironing facilities. Very clean and very good position. The staff was nice and professional. Buffet breakfast with cold and hot choices from the menu was very good. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommended!
