Daphne is a delight and she makes you feel right at home and her cooking,( breakfasts) were super ; she is a “Pro” having run this program for over 24 years and cares about its success !

Overlooking the sea and just a short walk from Arklow town, the hotel offers tasty food, an impressive leisure club and 91 rooms, some with spectacular sea views. Good location, nice grounds, good access to a footpath and beach. Excellent choices at breakfast. Friendly & helpful staff. Plenty of choices for lunch / dinner. Plenty of storage space in room for clothes. Water fountain on each floor and a bottle in your room so you could collect water to have in your room.

On the picturesque seafront with beautiful views across the Irish Sea, The Martello Hotel offers hotel rooms or self-catering apartments. We liked it all! First we were not sure: it was rated two -star and our first hotel which was next to it was rated four and we didn't like it too much. We started with breakfasts: they started there an hour earlier than at our hotel and the service was superb! Than we moved in and were not disappointed. The same ocean view, very clean and cosy room, the friendliest staff we ever met, like family, good food...

This 400-year old hotel is nestled in the beautiful Vale of Avoca, overlooking Woodenbridge Golf Club. Its modern rooms have free Wi-Fi, while its AA Rosette restaurant serves full Irish breakfasts. Beautiful setting with lush surroundings. We were able to entertain some visiting family members in a quiet secluded lounge area, with staff ever attentive. Room and facilities were excellent. Lovely breakfast.
