Very easy to find, the hotel is charming and cozy. Rooms are very warm, clean and there was a coffee maker and kettle which we found very useful. The staff was very accomodating and friendly and overall amazing. Highly recommend!

It is a place with a very special vibe. The cabin is small, but warm and has all the basics for comfort. The view is spectacular. Roosters were our neighbours, so it was a pleasure to hear them. The parking is very spacious. The facility has other options like restaurant, spa, shot with their own branded products. And there is a farm nearby and another one on the other side of the road. A perfect place for families.

We wanted an isolated building not far from plenty of photo opportunities in a region of Iceland a little less visited and this was perfect

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. I had aproblem with my car at Hellnar, both of my car tyres went flat. The staff of foss hotel Hellnar helped me a lot. Very curtsious and helpful staff.

I loved the setup, it was a very rustic viking style furnishing. Loved that in the basement the two rooms share a common space and a small toaster, kettle and a huge TV with a common shared bathroom and toilet.
