We cannot speak highly enough of the staff, particularly Gessica and Lorenzo, who went out of their way to make us comfortable. Such lovely, friendly people. The room was comfortable with stunning views. The location, in the mountains, was very picturesque. We'd recommend this place to anyone who would like to spend time off the beaten track in a beautiful location.

Set halfway up the hill separating the Valdarno and Chianti Valleys, Villa Barberino dates back to the 14th-century. It offers landscaped gardens, luxury accommodation, and panoramic views. We spend two nights out of a week of traveling in Italy and it was our best stay ever!!! The property is by far the most beautiful we have stayed at. The staff and the receptionist where so nice and helpful we totally recommend this place and hope to come back!!!

The location is perfect in the heart of Cortona. The hotel itself is a charming old palace, with historical elements and beautiful decoration. Our room was spacious and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly, grazie mille for making our stay memorable!

Wonderful homemade breakfast each morning, (Sarah’s mom’s Cornettos we’re our favorite of the entire trip!) Family went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and convenient.
