We loved the proximity of the slopes We hired three of the 5 chalets, all had their own entrances and so were great for 3 groups of 4 people. The sitting room area meant all 12 of us could meet and eat together. Would highly recommend if skiing in Furano. To get to the main supermarkets in Furano you need a car. We managed perfectly by hiring one car and most of the group getting the airport shuttle which stops fairly close by

Pension Jokura is very warm and welcoming. The couple hosting is lovely and friendly, will make you feel at home. I stayed in a single Japanese room and was perfect, spacious and comfortable. There are shared bathrooms and shower divided for males and females and although the pension was almost full I never had to wait more than a few minutes to use them. There are also 4 shared sinks, more than enough for everyone. The location perhaps it's the only element to check before depending on you plans:the zone is great as it's less than 10mins walking from the main attractions of the city such as red brick building, old town hall or even the mount Hakodate ropeway, but is not too near the station (note I'm referring to the JR station, the shin-Hakodate is far northern and not in the city). There are tram or bus available but worth noting that when I left, the ghost gave me a ride to the station, saving me almost half an hour.

The hot spring bathing was so relaxing! The staff were friendly and professional. I came away feeling totally refreshed and relaxed.

Accessed directly from a very nice shopping mall right next to the station. Friendly reception staff who helped direct us to the snow festival and local restaurants

Stuff is super helpful. The buffet both for dinner and breakfast was rich and good. Room was spacious.

Featuring a restaurant and hot public baths, the modern Furano Natulux Hotel is only a 1-minute walk from Furano Train Station. The location is right next to the train & bus station. Really convenient for us who go around by public bus. The staffs are so helpful and friendly too even though their english are a bit limited. They also had totoro snowman at the terrace!

Exceptional hotel, as it was 8 years ago... Very nice, efficient staff. Large, clean room with a beautiful view. Exceptional value for money. Very nice bar in the last floor.

The amenities when i stay at ladies room was super!! They also provided us with face steamer, hair curlers, face mask, bath salt, etc.
