Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. I liked everything, the staff are superb (thank you Mina, you are the best!), the food is amazing, the hot spring are relaxing, it is very clean and the location is the best in town.

Overlooking the beautiful Kobe Harbour, Oriental Hotel offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi area. Design and atmosphere , very good breakfast, especially the French Toast

Το Onishiya Suisyouen προσφέρει όμορφα ιαματικά λουτρά, σάουνα και ιαπωνικό κήπο δίπλα στον ποταμό Maruyama. Amazing place. Friendly and very helpful staff. Delicious dinner and breakfast. Shuttles to and from the baths until 10 pm. Private Onsen bath is also quite comfy Excellent service. A little remark: i'm surprised about how good the coffee is from an automatic coffee machine.

Situated just a 3-minute walk from JR Motomachi Staion, Kobe Motomachi Tokyu REI Hotel provides simple rooms with natural colours. I really enjoyed my stay thanks to the staff. They were so understanding and helpful with the many issues that came up throughout our trip! The facilities in the hotel were also wonderful and everything very enjoyable and comfortable in our room. The location is also great, close to so many stores to shop at, eat and walk around.

Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya offers modern rooms with free wired internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available at the 5th floor lobby. The had complimentary drinks and even wine during certain hours around Christmas when we were staying. The room was recently spacious and their lounge had microwave for heating food and sufficient space to sit and chill. Overall a great stay

Hotel Okura Kobe is located on the waterfront, 500 metres from the Motomachi shopping area. Featuring Western-style rooms with free WiFi access, the hotel offers 6 dining options. Excellent breakfast with a lot of varieties!

It was a cozy room that was just right in every way. It's conveniently located near one of the numerous shōtengai (local market streets) in the area and just a 10-minute walk from Himeji Castle and Kokoen (flower garden next to the castle). It's perfect for exploring the area or even if you plan on touring the nearby prefectures with a JR Pass.

A 10-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Train Station, Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel features a Japanese restaurant and a massage service. Rooms feature free Wifi and a flat-screen satellite TV. The staff helped me a lot with tourist and dining information.
