Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. I liked everything, the staff are superb (thank you Mina, you are the best!), the food is amazing, the hot spring are relaxing, it is very clean and the location is the best in town.

Overlooking the beautiful Kobe Harbour, Oriental Hotel offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi area. My favourite hotel on my 3 week trip in Japan. Beautiful rooms and public spaces, excellent breakfast.

Το Onishiya Suisyouen προσφέρει όμορφα ιαματικά λουτρά, σάουνα και ιαπωνικό κήπο δίπλα στον ποταμό Maruyama. The room was amazing, typical japanese room with tatami, futon, all that. We had tea, water, beers available in the room. The bathroom had aminities available and was super nice. Overall it was super comfortable. The onsen inside the hotel was the best one out of all I saw in Kinosaki. Great experience! They gave us yukatas and towels, even footwear. You had free access to all onsens in town with a QR they provided you. Tattoos are not a problem too. We also had a kaiseki meal, which was an experience in itself. Some of the best food I had in Japan, and the service was amazing, we were explained what everything was and enjoyed it a lot. Our host was amazing. I am hoping to come back at some point in the future. The personel was amazing, super friendly and kind. It was a pleasure to be a guest! Definitely a highlight in my trip :)

Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya offers modern rooms with free wired internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available at the 5th floor lobby. Very close to Sannomiya Station, convenience stores, supermarket, Daiso, drugstores and restaurants. You'll be taken care of very well. The room I had was large enough for me to open up a medium sized suitcase.

Only a 3-minute walk from JR Himeji Station, Dormy Inn Himeji Natural Hot Spring offers modern rooms with free WiFi is provided throughout the property. I really loved staying at this hotel. The onsen was such a nice way to relax after a long day of exploring Himeji. The room is consistent in size with most hotels in Japan and had a good layout. I especially loved the free ramen and ice cream in the evenings. Incredible value. Great location (very close walk to Himeji shinkansen station)

Hotel Okura Kobe is located on the waterfront, 500 metres from the Motomachi shopping area. Featuring Western-style rooms with free WiFi access, the hotel offers 6 dining options. All stuff was really, truly and always very kind. The hotel was very clean and beautiful and for smokers the fact that it has smoking areas it is really important. Breakfast had a lot of options and everything was delicious.

The hotel is in a superb location, just 10 minute walk from the Himeji JR station, and 10-15 minute walk to Himeji castle. It was very clean, with a nice toilet and a comfortable bed. I recommend this place for travelers doing a trip around Japan, when they are looking for a nice and well located spot for exploring Himeji.

A 10-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Train Station, Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel features a Japanese restaurant and a massage service. Rooms feature free Wifi and a flat-screen satellite TV. I couldn't complain. Everything was nice.
