Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. We had a fantastic time during the two nights that we stayed at this Ryokan. Hachi-san and his family are lovely people and went absolutely above and beyond to make our stay not only memorable but in fact unforgettable. When comparing the food to the other Ryokans and Minshukus we stayed at we felt that here it was the highest quality and also everything was explained to us clearly and proactively, how to enjoy all the different dishes. Hachi-san took many great photos of us and even gave us a lift to the train station when we checked out. Luggage forwarding worked great aswell.

Overlooking the beautiful Kobe Harbour, Oriental Hotel offers luxurious accommodation in the heart of the historic Kyu-Kyoryuchi area. Amazing location, great view from the room, super comfortable bed, very freindly and helpful staff, good wifi. We wanted to send post cards from the hotel to our home back in Europe, the front desk staff told us they will send them for free (we did recieved it). The hotel also has restaurants and bars which looked great, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try them due to busy schedule.

Το Onishiya Suisyouen προσφέρει όμορφα ιαματικά λουτρά, σάουνα και ιαπωνικό κήπο δίπλα στον ποταμό Maruyama. We had an amazing stay at this ryokan. It was so nice to experience a traditional accommodation and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It was also very relaxing to use their spa which had a serene atmosphere and also not crowded like some of the public hot springs. True it wasn’t in the center, you have to walk a bit to the hot springs but it’s an easy 10 minute walk and they also take you in and back by shuttle bus between 4-10pm.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima. My parents and I have enjoyed everything there. Highly recommended place to chill and relax with partner, friends and family. It's not only about the gold spring, but also about the delicious Japanese food, amazing staff and services, and the best coffee we've ever had in Japan. Wish I can get a hint of where to buy it lol. Many thanks to this fantastic place. We love it!

Situated just a 3-minute walk from JR Motomachi Staion, Kobe Motomachi Tokyu REI Hotel provides simple rooms with natural colours. Value for money. Excellent breakfast, practically gourmet level, for $15 Lounge area had vinyl record library and turntables for personal use. Staff were extremely helpful when I had issues with family member. Hotel was only few steps away from China Town and also close to dozens of cafes, restaurants, shopping stores. 5 minutes walk from railway station. Perfect location. Quiet rooms.

Villa Fontaine Kobe Sannomiya offers modern rooms with free wired internet access. Free Wi-Fi is available at the 5th floor lobby. The room was rather small but the bed was comfortable for me. I loved their breakfast, they had these cute mini croffle and grilled sandwich stations. The pastries at breakfast were wonderful and freshly baked. Great selections of delicious tea at the coffee lounge that you can enjoy freely. There was also an interesting wine vending machine that unfortunately we didn’t get to try. Loved how they carefully curated some local Kobe products in the food & drink. Location wise is close walking distance to the JR Sannomiya station and next door is a supermarket!

Only a 3-minute walk from JR Himeji Station, Dormy Inn Himeji Natural Hot Spring offers modern rooms with free WiFi is provided throughout the property. Very friendly staff nice hotel.

Hotel Okura Kobe is located on the waterfront, 500 metres from the Motomachi shopping area. Featuring Western-style rooms with free WiFi access, the hotel offers 6 dining options. Arrived after very long trip from Europe, tired. Beautiful room. Good to rest. Comfortable beds & pillows. Nice bathroom. I always ask for higher floor & my room was beautiful with a sea & park view. Perfect for me & my first visit to Kobe. The staff everywhere were so nice & helpful. Appreciated the hotel shuttle bus from Sannomiya Station: when I first arrived from the airport ITM with an Airport Limousine Bus & again during my stay in Kobe. Breakfast buffet is splendid & also can get a good espresso coffee. I like Japanese Breakfast! Had one dinner at the Chinese Restaurant: very good. Beautifully presented. Lot of food. I arrived hungry & left very full! I inquired about the swimming pool, but ultimately did not have time to use it this visit. Hopefully next time. (Extra cost to use the swimming pool/sauna)

The room had a great setup. They had the smart TV directly at the foot of the bed. You can browse Japanese TV stations or just play something off YouTube. It was a cozy room that was just right in every way. It's conveniently located near one of the numerous shōtengai (local market streets) in the area and just a 10-minute walk from Himeji Castle and Kokoen (flower garden next to the castle). It's perfect for exploring the area or even if you plan on touring the nearby prefectures with a JR Pass.

A 10-minute walk from JR Sannomiya Train Station, Kobe Sannomiya Union Hotel features a Japanese restaurant and a massage service. Rooms feature free Wifi and a flat-screen satellite TV. The staff helped me a lot with tourist and dining information.
