由布の里 旅荘 牧場の家 Ryoso Makibanoie offers spacious Japanese-style cottages with Mount Yufu views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and in all guest rooms. The serenity of the environment made the stay very relaxing and tranquil. Highly recommended for those visiting Yufuin.

Right on Beppu Bay, Umino Hotel Hajime offers public hot spring baths and free WiFi. Rooms feature a traditional Japanese decor and a private bathroom with hot spring water. Probably my favorite accomodation in Japan. Wonderfully friendly and English fluent staff, a prime location sandwiched between Beppu Tower, the seaside and a 7-11, only 10 minutes away from Beppu Station, spacious and comfortable rooms with a cozy city view as well as a fantastic rooftop Onsen I spent every morning/night watching the sun rise/set and ships go about their day. Excellent accomodations, staff and value for money and I'd rate 11/10 if I could.

Located in the central area of Oita City, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Oita offers modern accommodations with free Wi-Fi at the entire property. Nice food, we enjoyed. Very accommodating.

Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu boasts a spacious public bathing area including natural hot spring baths and open-air baths. It is just a 10-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. Good location,BF and very friendly staffs.
