Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Excellent stay at the hotel, room was great, they let us drop our luggage before having the room as well as after check out. Great staff, very helpful

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. It features a French restaurant and stylish bars, and free WiFi is offered throughout. Its entrance is right next to the Marunouchi South Exit of Tokyo Station. We arrived very early, before 8 AM, and they kindly prepared a room for us by 10 AM, even though check-in was at 3 PM. Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. Location couldn’t be any better- smack in the middle of the market and the temple. A little oasis there! The snacks and beverage station was a nice addition and the staff were super friendly.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. I loved the lobby and the books. I also really appreciated the bathroom quality and amenities. The employees were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we enjoyed the afternoon tea with books they offered.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. It features free WiFi and a restaurant. Great location. Direct train to the airport and city centre. Only 10 minutes away to shinkansen station by taxi. Very convenient as it is located next to skytree mall and has a big supermarket underneath. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room size is not too small. Clean and tidy. The mattress was very comfortable. Free breakfast with lots of variety.

Opened in August 2014 after a thorough renovation, Hotel Ryumeikan Ochanomizu Honten has been offering heartfelt hospitality for more than a century. Its sophisticated guest rooms feature modern facilities and traditional Japanese aesthetics. It is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from Shin-Ochanomizu Subway Station. A huge room with buitifull traditional design, amazing bathroom. a lot of small extras in the room and drinks/snacks in the library. Daily full room cleaning. Very nice neighborhood. Few metro lines just next to the hotel. Quite at night. We spent 5 nights and was highly satisfied with our room and the overall service. Would definitely stay again and already recommended to my friends and family.

The hotel offers Japanese-style accommodation with a free private bath and free internet. I loved my room and private bathroom. The private bath (onsen) was the best, after a hard day of walking around parts of Tokyo, coming home to experience the private bath made each day a relaxing one.

It might be too tight for 2 persons wifh luggage The toilet and bath space is spacious and clean The check in and check out process is easy and efficient There is no daily housekeeping instead basic amenities are given everyday There are coin laudry microwave vending machine and ironing board available for use The onsen was great The TV system was also a great way to.monitor your stay and various activities in the hotel
