The Edo Sakura is geopend in juni 2013, en beschikt over accommodatie in een Japans herenhuis in Machiya-stijl op 5 minuten wandelen van metrostation Iriya en op 10 minuten wandelen van treinstation... Our japanese room was fantastic - with tatami, futons and yukatas. In the morning I chose the japanese breakfast and it was good decision :) Absolutely perfect, very friendly staff (they stored our luggae during our trip to Kyoto - thank You!) The location of the hotel is really good - close to the metro station and some good restaurants (hidden gems!)

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. Nothing can beat the central location, room allocated is quiet despite being in a train station and is bigger than the pictures. Breakfast buffet spread was superb, both Japanese and Western.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. Toplocatie, vlakbij belangrijkste tempel, restaurants en winkels, metro en hop on bus vlakbij. Zeer vriendelijke en gastvrije mensen, zeer mooi ingericht.

Het Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba is het eerste Grand Nikko Hotel in Japan. De deuren gingen open op 1 juli 2016. Big room , with lots of space, (we had the triple). Big luxurious bathroom with lots of goodies supplied daily (toothpaste and brush, hairbrush, skin care supplies, shower caps etc.). Very comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Great location (the train station is right outside the hotel). Kind, patient and helpful staff.

Het Shiba Park Hotel ligt op slechts 2 minuten wandelen van het metrostation Onarimon en op 4 minuten wandelen van het metrostation Daimon. One of the best hotels during our Japan trip! Good value with exceptional service and friendly staff who speak English well. It is difficult to find a room with 3 beds in Tokyo, I’m glad we managed to find Shiba Park hotel. The library hotel concept is also very interesting - I managed to sit down and flip through some photo books. Amenities are generously provided and of very high quality. Will definitely come back again!

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. Mooi hotel, hoge kwaliteit, vlakbij metro, mooie rustige wijk. Vriendelijk personeel.

This hotel is ideally located near convenient metro access while still feeling pleasantly removed from the bustle and more tourist-heavy areas of Tokyo. I appreciate the experience of staying slightly off the beaten path—it encourages curiosity and discovery and this neighborhood is perfectly suited for that. The hotel itself is exceptional: classic in style, beautifully refined, and thoughtfully designed. Our corner room featured full paneled windows on two sides, filling the space with light while maintaining a sense of calm and privacy. The room was quiet and luxurious, complete with a generous soaking tub and a comfortable lounging area that made it easy to fully unwind. What truly sets this hotel apart is its subtle, intentional approach to hospitality. The facilities are designed to make guests feel genuinely cared for without ever feeling intrusive. A beautifully curated library offering complimentary beverages and snacks was a particularly lovely touch. Toward the end of our journey, I was also able to arrange an in-room shiatsu massage, which was an incredibly welcome and restorative experience. I am genuinely in awe of this space and the atmosphere it offers, and I very much look forward to returning on our next trip to Tokyo.

It’s comfortable, it’s beautiful and the element of true history behind those walls. The staff is super helpful and friendly, there are various different restaurants inside the hotel to enjoy as well. It has an amazing garden full of historical artifacts
