We spent two nights at Langdale Boutique Hotel by Amaya and absolutely loved it. The hotel is tucked away in the middle of endless tea fields, and the views are just stunning, it feels like a little world of its own. What made our stay so memorable was the incredible staff. From start to finish, they made us feel so welcome and genuinely cared for, nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to the reception and wait staff, as well as Chef Guiamme, who not only cooked us the most delicious meals but also took the time to share his recipes for Coconut Jam, Dhal, and Onion Sambal. We can’t wait to try them at home and share them with our friends and family. Such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel extra personal. We were kindly upgraded for our stay and the room was very comfortable and cozy, and we both slept so well and got the perfect recharge after exploring. We also loved the facilities — the heated pool was perfect after a day of adventuring, the mini golf is a nice touch and the walks around Langdale’s estate were peaceful and beautiful. We also used the laundry service which did a truly excellent job and refreshed our belongings for our onward journey. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka, and we’ll look back on it fondly. If you’re looking for warm hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and truly outstanding service, Langdale is the place to stay.

Το Heritance Tea Factory προσφέρει δωμάτια σε αποικιακό στιλ, με θέα στις γύρω τεϊοφυτείες και στους λόφους. Beautifully restored industrial building. We were accommodated gracefully despite arriving early and given one of the three rooms with a balcony.

Staying in this hotel is a mind blowing experience. Hotel is located at an elevated location and just opposite to the beautiful Gregory lake. The sight from hotel room balcony is so picturesque and one can see view of Tea Estate, Beautiful lake and cloud kissing mountain in one frame. Room is very spacious and so is balcony. Room is kind of duplex and quite innovative in design. The hotel staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. Their kitchen serves very tasty food and we all enjoyed. They have DJ room, Shishaw bar and firewood place too. We stayed there for one night and wanted to stay more but we had other things planned so couldn't. Would visit again for sure.

The hotel is situated on a hill overlooking 24 hectares of tea plantation, surrounded by luscious mountains. It is the perfect combination of peace and isolation amidst a breathtaking scenery. The hotel staff are very attentive to guests’ needs - be it booking car transfers or showing the best hike routes in the area. This place is a gem and we look forward to coming back.
