The Villa Bentota by KK Collection is a beach side boutique hotel featuring individually designed rooms and suites. Surrounded by tropical gardens, it offers 2 outdoor pools and free WiFi in the... The Villa Bentota is a quiet haven by the side of the Indian Ocean. The villa was designed by the famous Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa. The pool was a real feature for us. 23 metres long and excellent for morning fitness swims. The food was excellent and the staff were extremely attentive.

From the very first moment, our stay at Nisala Arana was a total success – and became the absolute highlight of our Sri Lanka journey. This hotel was far more than just a place to stay; it felt like a true home full of soul, nestled within a lush, peaceful garden paradise. The expansive garden is a tranquil oasis right in the heart of vibrant, rural Bentota. We loved exploring the quiet backstreets by bike (freely available), observing local life and reaching the serene, uncrowded beach in just minutes – perfect for swimming and surfing. A fantastic Ayurveda centre was also nearby. The accommodation is stylish, immaculately kept, and yet wonderfully welcoming – it immediately gave us a sense of belonging. Special thanks go to General Manager Conrad, who hosted us with incredible warmth, attentiveness, and insight. He was not only a perfect host, but also a cultural guide and a true friend – making everything possible, from a fresh seafood BBQ to tracking down a lost phone. Even the owner went above and beyond – including sourcing a guitar for us! We actually stayed at Nisala Arana twice – once at the beginning of our trip, and again at the end. That’s how much we loved it. The second time we brought friends and enjoyed an almost private guesthouse experience, complete with a talented chef who prepared amazing curries and menus tailored to our tastes. In short: a place with true heart, deep respect for its guests, and a very personal level of service. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone seeking a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere – not about Instagram hype, but about real soul.

Διαθέτει εξωτερική πισίνα, κέντρο μασάζ Ayurveduc και δωμάτια με δωρεάν Wi-Fi. the rooms were amazing the view was incredible and the food and staff spectacular. special mention to Mario and Jack the dogs who wer fun to play with. the monkeys beautiful birds were amazing the spa massage was all class and the chef and boys working there were fun and always smiles on their faces. food was amazing for all meal times. thanks to all we will never forget it

It was my favourite hotel i stayed in Sri Lanka. It's super beautiful and i think its cheap. They have pool with a very beautiful garden. The rooms are huge. We had a big balcony aswell. And they had for us a Elephant with a towel and flowers in the bed. Nice touch The food really good and the staff super amazing everyone super nice. It's like 3 minutes walking to the beach and just in front have the train railway. You can see it like 3 times per day, which its really cool. They offer activities like go to a lake to see the mangrove in a boat or make a massage in the ayurveda place that they have. The best part they have 3 baby cats and they care them a lot. It's the first pet friendly hotel i stayed on Sri Lanka. Amazing experience. The beach beautiful and not crowded and very close its wave restaurant, super good place for eat.

Taj Bentota Resort & Spa - is located in Sri Lanka's Galle District, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Pampering spa services, an outdoor pool and 5 dining options are provided. Property was excellent and very well maintained despite property being 25 year old. Taj staff took exceptional care of us during our stay. Pool and beach facilities are excellent too.
