I was surprised by the spacious room, its comfort, and all the amenities. the staff is very hospitable as everywhere in Sri Lanka. The building itself is fascinating, and you can feel it by the ambience and wooden stairs and floors, very well renovated and looks quite esthetic. If stay in Galle again I'd stop over at the Fort Printers - and google the history of the building and the Fort :)

We spent a week in the charming mansion Camellia, centrally and quietly located, a few minutes walk away from the beach and center. The building is a little hidden from the street and is surrounded by a blooming garden. The room with all amenities was spacious and quiet. Our host Paddy spoiled us with a delicious and varied breakfast, he showed us the eating habits of the country with the respective national dishes. His humor and knowledge of the country and its people was unique, he helped his guests and also us with reservations, excursions and transfers. We highly recommend this property and will book this accommodation again on our visit.

Rooms feature classic Sri Lankan-style furnishings. It offers a writing table, clean linen sheets and windows offering direct sunlight. Bathrooms are en suite. The guesthouse is right in front of the Dutch Fort and you can see the sea from the terrace. The room was cozy, the place was super clean. The Dutch market was a short walk from the guesthouse. I loved staying there and when I return to Galle which i will because I loved it, I'll make sure to stay here. Also a cute dog named Pirate is a bonus.

This elegant property is 2.8 km from Galle Light house, 2.9 km from the historical Galle Fort and 3.1 km from Dutch Church Galle. The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's. It is a three minute walk to the Unawatuna Beach and a 15 minute drive away from the historic 16th - 17th century Galle Fort. Absolutely beautiful Hotel. I would like this to be my home. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is in this area.

Dunes has 10 garden-view ac rooms and a 2 bed room ac cottage in its peaceful and tranquil setting. It's a really nice property with great staff and great service. It's relaxing to have a place like this out from the madness of the local town. Good food, too.
