Το Highlanders Garden Guesthouse περιβάλλεται από καταπράσινο τοπίο και απέχει 3 λεπτά με τα πόδια από το κέντρο της πόλης Tanah Rata. What a house, what a garden, what an enclosure on the edge of the village! Prime, calm location. Cosy rooms with balcony, if you booked the smaller room, you can use one of the communal ones facing downhill. There is complimentary toast, tea, coffee, jam, crackers and water in the communal pantry downstairs. Free fridge for your little somethings. You can rent a motorbike without much ado, you even get free transfer to the bus terminal (which is in walking distance). Staff is very friendly and caring.

A charming country house inspired by English heritage, The Lakehouse features wooden ceiling beams and four-poster beds. Sitting on a hill in Cameron Highlands, the hotel offers guided jungle treks. I stayed in the Lakehouse 2 years before and stated this is the best place I ever stayed in away from home. Last year they were (unfortunately) closed due to renovations so I could only revisit this year. My opinion has not changed: its location outside of the towns of Ringlet and Tanah Rata, the impeccable staff, excellent restaurant, resting facilities, garden, rooms, it is a 100% thumbs up for me.

Very quiet place. So beautiful inside. Breakfast is fantastic !! Nasi Lemak and French Toast are so great. Best pure honey for French Toast is the best I ever tasted.
