Perfectly located in the heart of Little India, this hotel is a gorgeously renovated colonial building. The inside is SO cool, with careful treatment of the original features. The stairs are definitely to be taken carefully. The staff were all so lovely and helpful. Breakfast really was lovely, the kuih were so fresh and the fruit etc. The rooms are really great. We had one tub room and one loft room, both were awesome. I would gladly return to this hotel in the future.

Housed in a Chinese courtyard-style mansion, The Blue Mansion offers boutique accommodation tastefully furnished with antique fittings. Breakfast was phenomenal. Toured the hotel and loved learning its history. Staff know you and are ready to help in any way. Plenty to see as soon as you walk out the door but also a pleasure to spend time in the room.

I lost my heart to the baby kitten outside in the backyard.

Loved the location, close to beach street and little India. Lots of restaurants in walking distance. The room was very spacious with 4 double beds, more than enough for a family of 4. Even though its location, very central, the rooms are very quiet. I really love the friendliness of the staff. They gave lots of suggestions on where to go or where to eat. Loved the little local desserts every night brought to our room. Even though there are lots of plants around the mansion, there were no mosquitos. ( And I get bitten very easily). The check-in was also very fast. I would definitely return next time we visit George town.

The location is perfect, just steps from Chulia Street, Blue Mansion, and Armenian Street, making it so easy to explore Penang’s vibrant street art and food scene, yet it’s surprisingly peaceful. The staff who took care of us were incredibly warm and helpful, sharing great local tips. Highly recommend for a memorable Penang stay!
