Very good hotel with polite services.. my mother left her phone when we were checked out.. about 20mins travel on our way back to brunei.. they txted us and told us that a mobile phone left in one room that were in.. Boasting 4 dining options and an outdoor swimming pool, Horizon Hotel is located in Kota Kinabalu. The property is a 5-minute walk to Gaya Street and offers elegant, air-conditioned guest rooms . Horizon was lovely. Very well located in the centre of town, close to the shops and bars. The room was big and very clean, with a bath and nice view. I like the buffet breakfast and the late check out time.

There are several restaurants to choose from with very good food options. The breakfast buffet (included) was tasty, varied and plentiful. The view from the open-air breakfast area was truly tropical.

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. The accommodation was clean spacious and modern inside but culturally suitable on the exterior. You are right next to the Orangutan Sanctuary and some even came to visit us at the Lodge. It was a life changing experience. The grounds are beautiful and the noises are incredible. You really feel like you are staying in the jungle.
