Το The Village House βρίσκεται στο Kuching, σε απόσταση μόλις 3 λεπτών με τα πόδια από την παραλία Santubong και 7 λεπτών οδικώς από το όρος Santubong και το Πολιτιστικό Χωριό Sarawak. So calm, beautiful area at rhe foot of the mountain and just in the village (there are 3 cafes and 2 v little shops for some basic bits). We did the wetlands cruise with John at the jetty in town and it was a must! 15.min walk or the staff will drive you. Also got a lift to damai beach where there are some more food places and shops and the cultural centre $20 entrance for that. Pool is great. You can borrow bikes to explore the area. Note the sea in this area is not for swimming as mangroves/crocs! Can go down the road to Damai easily enough...

Boasting an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Imperial Hotel Kuching is strategically located next to Boulevard Shopping Mall. Big bed and room for my little family. Cozy and comfortable. The breakfast menu was awesome.

Located in the historical heart of Kuching, Abell Hotel offers accommodations in Sarawak. Guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant or have a drink at the bar. Great value for money. Staff were friendly and helpful, location is excellent and overall really enjoyed our visit. Our reservation didn’t include breakfast but on the first day we ate downstairs and it was excellent.

Set across the road from The Spring Shopping Mall, Citadines Uplands Kuching offers contemporary accommodation in Kuching. It boasts an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We stayed for 5 nights at this hotel. We had a studio on the 10th floor which had great views across the city. Our apartment was stylish, quiet, pristine and spacious with an open plan lounge/kitchen area, a well equipped bathroom (super shower) and airy bedroom with excellent air con.The reception staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. Complimentary coffee was served in the lobby area…….Darrel and Alexander were great hosts! The hotel is opposite “The Spring” shopping mall and close to a variety of restaurants and cafes. We were there during Oktoberfest so the area outside “Spring” was buzzing and welcoming in the evenings, with live music and beer on tap! The cost of a “Grab” taxi (like an Uber) was around R8 (around £1.50 at time of writing) to the waterfront. There is a swimming pool and gym but we didn’t use them although the pool looked very inviting. We had originally planned to stay for 2 nights but extended it to 5 as the place worked for us.

The beds are comfy, toilet and room are clean. I need a clean room because I'm allergic to dust so this hotel was my first choice when I went to Kuching. The price is also reasonable. And there is a convenience store nearby.

Strategically located in the commercial district, Imperial Hotel Miri is set next to Permaisuri Imperial City Mall in Miri. It boasts a rooftop pool and 3 dining options. Room is spacious. Kids enjoy the bathtub. easy to find foods, entertainment for kids, parking available for free with good security. Kids below 5 years having breakfast for free. Although breakfast time is until 10am, the kitchen staff still allow us to sit to finish our foods because we come down for breakfast 15 mins before its close.
