The classically decorated guest rooms have private bathrooms and free WiFi. Some rooms are located in an annex and some feature canopy beds and private balconies with fjord views. The room was big enough to accommodate a couple, it was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Water pressure was good. The food was nice. Quite a nice open buffet type of dinner and breakfast. The hotel offers you a packed lunch for a certain price and you can fill your bottle for coffee (for a certain price). The staff was very friendly. Always smiling and willing to help you all the time. The hotel location is quite good as well. There are nice places you can visit by foot. The hotel staff gives you a booklet you should check after you settle in your room. There are suggestions of places where you should visit including the routes and nice places to visit.

Flåm Marina's guest rooms have a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. The apartments are equipped with a kitchen providing all utensils needed for a relaxing, self-catering break. The view was breathtaking. The location in easy walk distance of all the spots of interest. Room was spotless.

This refurbished 1800s manor house is in Flåm, 200 metres from the Aurlandsfjord. It provides a restaurant, a large garden and free WiFi access. All rooms have views towards the Aurlandsfjord or the surrounding mountains. The hotel was right behind the Flåmsbana- just a short walk from the cruise to Gudvangen, the bus stop and the tourist information. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast & dinner buffet had many choices and everything was delicious- there was a selection of local cheeses as well.

The Gudvangen Fjordtell offered an unparalleled experience during our recent visit to Norway, with its Viking Rooms providing the perfect blend of history and modern comfort. We were captivated by the hotel's beautiful surroundings, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in the region's natural beauty while staying in a room that transported us back in time. The proximity to the cruise/ferry terminal and Viking village added to our enjoyment, as did the nearby restaurants offering delicious food and the friendly staff who made our stay feel special from the moment we arrived. Although finding parking in the afternoon could be challenging due to the large public parking area, we were grateful for the early check-in option, which allowed us to start enjoying the hotel's amenities earlier than planned. Overall, we cannot recommend Gudvangen Fjordtell highly enough and will cherish our memories of this unforgettable stay in Norway!

All guest rooms at Visnes Hotel Stryn have traditional furnishings. Each room has a seating area and a private bathroom with shower. Beautiful hotel, with antique furniture in relaxing area. Nice patio outdoors with view on lake. Good location. Amazing food. Renovated barn is part of the hotel and has family rooms for 4 p: spacious and super modern. Basement has heaters for hiking boots and a washing machine. Breakfast was delicious, staff super helpful.

At the head of the famous Flåm Railway in Myrdal, this hotel is only accessible by train and sits high above Aurlandsfjord. It is not located very close to Myrdal station, it's located 1,5 km from Myrdal. It's not possible to walk to the hotel wintertime due to the snow conditions. We recommend to take the train one stop down from Myrdal to Vatnahalsen station. Important to check the timetable for the trains. It takes 30 minutes to walk summertime. It's NOT possble to drive by car to Vatnahalsen hotel. Beautiful setting , beautiful old hotel with nice staff. The breakfast was above and beyond.
