An undercover car park was allocated to us. The Manager was super friendly and helpful.

It provides modern rooms, some of which feature a wood burning fire and private outdoor spa. Excellent location with a beautiful view, spacious and comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff. Good parking, free guest laundry. Well stocked kitchen so we could make our own meals.

The State Hotel is a 15 room boutique hotel and only a 5-minute walk to the New Plymouth Coastal Walkway. Immaculate, styled, convenient. Easy to access, fantastically convenient parking. Great value for money. A class apart in Taranaki.

Guests at the hotel will be able to enjoy activities in and around Stratford, like hiking. What a lovely place, very scenic and comfortable. The perfect mountain getaway. We even enjoyed a spectacular sunrise from a viewing platform (just a couple of minutes drive from the property, worth getting up early). The staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. Thanks for the hospitality, we will be back for sure!

Some units at the property feature a balcony with a city view. We were greeted by lovely, helpful, friendly people who went out of their way to suggest great places to eat and visit. The room was really comfortable and clean, nicely furnished and decorated. Sadly, we could only stay one night and wish it could have been more

Pukekura park, the CBD & the Coastal walkway are within walking distance. Staying here was a memorable experience.

The studios and suites at Millennium Hotel New Plymouth, Waterfront include a fridge, microwave and tea making facilities. The room was of a very generous size for a hotel and the bed was comfy and shower had good pressure.
