Arista of Rotorua studios are 20 minutes’ walk from the famous Polynesian Spa. The property features a BBQ area and a pirate ship children’s playground set in lovely gardens. The staff was excellent and soooo helpful! Appreciated having laundry space and loved the hot tub! So grateful for their support of families battling childhood cancer!

Featuring free Wi-Fi, an outdoor thermally heated swimming pool, and rooms with private spa pools, Sport of Kings Motel is just 10 minutes' walk from Te Puia Thermal Reserve. The room is like a suite. A living room area, a galley kitchen that was well appointed and a bedroom. We also had a further room with a hot tub. It was wonderful.. There was a thermal heated pool that we enjoyed twice. We used the laundry facilities. So handy. The best thing about this motel is the friendly staff. They were so open, friendly and accommodating. Genuinely nice people. We highly recommend this motel.

We spend many hours just sitting in the chairs overlooking the lake. We loved the huge windows in our room also overlooking the lake. The animals (donkeys, sheep, and ponies) make the lace extra special. We had a car but also took Ubers to and from town—a quick 10min ride. The tour companies also know this property Staff was fantastic. Niki worked the breakfasts when we were there and she was wonderful. So friendly and kind, she took excellent care of us. She gave us tips on places to go, always asked how our stay was, and truly cared that we were having a nice stay there.

Set in spacious park-like surroundings, Wylie Court Motor Lodge features a heated swimming pool. All accommodation includes free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. We loved the spa and eveything was nice and clean on the cottage. A great place we recommand.

Friendly staff, lovely quiet location, everything required was available. Milk, tea and coffee, very cute kitchen area, great shower, hairdryer, comfy bed and lovely sofa! Laundry facilities were great also. We borrowed an umbrella and walked to Mitai Māori evening across the road. Woken by birdsong !

The Princes Gate is a historical, boutique-style hotel in the centre of Rotorua. This classical 5-star hotel is opposite the Polynesian Spa and the famous Government Gardens. We loved our room no’19 it was very tastefully decorated, the bed was comfy and the bathroom very clean. We ate in the restaurant and have to say the service was excellent and the food was way up there in presentation and taste The location was excellent for what we wanted to do We have already recommended to family and friends who are coming to New Zealand
